As hog hunting continues to take leaps and bounds throughout the world of big game hunting, Stuart Ranch is turning to management practices that produce trophy boars. The excitement created by the sight of one wild hog is over and hunters are searching for bigger and BADDER hogs. Stuart Ranch Outfitters is providing techniques that will help produce those trophies.
HOG HUNTS

 • Hog hunting is based on a per day rate one day hunt is $200/hunter two day hunt is $400/hunter and every day after two is $150/day/hunter

• Hog hunts include lodging, guide service, transportation upon arrival at the ranch. Hunters have the option to harvest unlimited hogs each day.

• Hunts are over a baited feed site also possible spot and stalk hunts are available

Spot and stalk hunting is often employed in areas that are open enough in terrain that a large area can be surveyed from a single, or select number of vantage points that can be up to a mile or more away from the hog being surveyed. The hunter starts surveying an area at first light that has been known to hold a hog. Once spotted, and worth hunting, the hunters wait and watch to see where the hog will bed down for the morning. Ideally more than one hog will be spotted so that if one stalk does not work out, there are other back ups.

Hunting dates are booked on a first come, first-served basis. A separate booking contract is required for each hunter in your party. A minimum deposit of 50% (per hunter) of the cost of the hunt is due with this booking contract. The full balance is due upon arrival at the ranch and may be paid by cash, personal check, or credit card. A phone call will not reserve your hunting dates; please send a signed contract and a deposit. For your convenience we can accept credit cards.
